Abstract
This research was conducte to provide information on the impact of soil physical chemical characteristics , on the stability of the original trees represented by Suaeda sp. ) , andthe invasive trees spread ( ProsopisChiliensis). Despite the invasion of( Prosopis SP. ) the original species( Prosopis SP. ) was well established in some areas , while it was deteriorated in otherlocations . the study aimed to high light the soil characteristics impact on supporting the growth of ( Suaeda sp. )plants , the potentiality for its cultivation and propagation to combat invasive plants. In light of this, the biological relationships between (Suaeda sp. ) and )Prosopissp.)trees were studied, focusing on its relation to soil properties .The study followed the analytical experimental approach for soil samping collected from the study area. The random sampling method was adopted at for the study of the chemical and physical properties of soil were investigated .The concluded that there are a number of vital relationships between ( Suaeda SP. ) and) ProsopisSP. ) represented by the resistance where ( Suaeda SP. ) inneighborhood was alive and the ( prosopisSP. ) is dead, the competition where the ( Suaeda SP. ) is only alive, and the coexistence is where the vegetarians are alive . and that these relationships recorded the highest values of most of the studied characteristics of soil in the study area, ( Suaeda SP. ) plant is distinguished in these relationships by its ability to accumulate and store ions needed to modify osmosis , likes odium ( Na ) , a high percentage of this salt is (10.6% ) . A high percentage of calcium (K )( 1% ) was recorded in the soil when sodium ( Na ) was low (10.6% ) , ( K ) ( 1 ) ( Mg ) ( 8.7% ) . The negative relationships included competition in favor of ( ProsopisSP. ) represented by ( ProsopisSP. )is alive, ( Suaeda SP. ) is dead, and) prosopis SP. ) is only alive , and the relationship of desertification and weak resistance of the to species , where both were is dead (Suaeda and prosopis ) dead) Suaeda SP. ) only, ( Prosopis SP. ) dead only and sterile , area recorded low values for most soil properties ( K )( 0.26%) , (Mg )( 1.1% ) , (Ca ) (1.67% ) and Sodium Adsorption Ratio ( Na ) ( 1.2%) for the properties the, been inrestigated .
The study concluded that the soil characteristics of the Red sea coast affects Suaeda SP. ) trees and it enhances their biological ability to compete with other plants in their venue , also in some . Helwaat locality, it does not support the growth of ( Suaeda sp. ) . |
