Abstract:
Abstract
The research tackled quality control and its role in evaluating the financial performance of industrial companies. The aim of the research was to address the concept of quality costs and to study the methods of measuring and monitoring the cost of quality.
In this research, the researcher relied on a number of approaches, including the deductive approach, the inductive method, the historical approach and the analytical descriptive approach to data collection, analysis and hypothesis testing, and through the results the research reached a number of results,
- The existence of a statistically significant relationship between the application of the system of quality costs and the evaluation of financial performance at the level of significance (0.05), through the company account for the costs of recycling defective products affect the evaluation of financial performance, which confirms the validity of the first hypothesis.
- The existence of a statistically significant relationship between the interest in the policies of reducing the cost of quality and the evaluation of financial performance at the level of significance (0.05), through the company's preparation of production budgets has a role in evaluating financial performance, which confirms the validity of the second hypothesis.
- There is a statistically significant relationship between the control of the cost of quality and the evaluation of financial performance at the level of significance (0.05), through the interest of the company in the costs of maintenance and calibration of measuring devices affect the evaluation of financial performance, which confirms the validity of the third hypothesis.
The researcher reached a number of recommendations, the most important of which are:
- The company should study the cost of quality in order to ensure continuous improvement of the products by analyzing the cost of quality and detecting the costs of defective products.
- The company should rely on the method of analysis using financial ratios when evaluating the performance of companies.
- The company should find ways to reduce the costs of failure, especially the costs of external failure, in order to obtain a product that meets the requirements of customers.
