Abstract The study aims to know the inhibitory effects of different concentration of six types of bees honey on the bacterial growth of Staphylococcus aureus bacteria which cause some skin diseases, due to it‘s medical importance and its safe antibiotic uses to reduce the excessive use of antibiotics and minimize side effects of using antibiotics. This research used the empirical method, (50)samples were collected from (25) infected skin wounds by sterile swabs to test it in medical laboratory at Red Sea State ( Port Sudan). Tests were carried out to have pure bacteria colony and saved in blood agar in temperature of 37 °C , while six types of honey of the current study (Sidr honey ,Sidr-Gabaly honey, limpid Habashi honey ,White-Habashi honey, ground honey and acacia honey)were being prepared in four different concentrations (10%, 6%, 3%,1%) , by adding different amount of distilled water to test the efficacy of honey against (S. aureus) by the diffusion method using small sterilized filter paper, and saturated and distributed it in the blood agar, and then prepared and incubated for 24 hours at 37 °C in the incubator to evaluate the inhibitory effect of honey on such bacteria. The results indicated that there was high inhibitory rate of bacterial growth at 10% honey concentration , low growth at 6% , while excessive growth was noticed at 1% and 3% respectively. The present study recommends to use the bees’ honey as inhibitor on infected skin wounds. Finally the necessary to study the inhibitory effect of honey local on skin wounds (in-vivo). en_US
