| dc.description.abstract | The profession of English language teaching is experiencing ongoing developments on both methodological and technological sides. EFL teachers need to cope with these developments as they are essential for effective language teaching where the focus shifted from teaching and how teachers teach to learning and how learners learn. This doesn›t mean to discard what teachers do but rather to highlight the importance of learners’ characteristics as well as how a foreign language can be learnt from the learners’ perspective. That focus shifting entails considering learners and learning styles, strategies, perceptions and attitudes with regard to English learning and the use of the new digital media that becomes a reality and common in today’s digital age. There are many ways teachers can know about their respective students’ language learning and technology use and how the latter can be integrated into EFL teaching and learning. This research paper investigates how that integration perceived by students and what that means for foreign language teachers at the university level form teaching perspective. In addition, what other factors come into play and essential for making use of these perceptions. | en_US |
